Almost from the beginning, the Edward Bellamy Memorial Association has been collecting and making available historical material relating to Edward Bellamy and the history of Chicopee.  In addition to copies of Bellamy’s writings, Bellamy family memorabilia, and the papers of Bellamy biographer Sylvia Bowman, our collections also contain the papers of Mayors Anthony J. Stonina (1932-1933, 1936-1939) and Richard H. Demers (1966-1969), photos of local people and places, and items relating to Chicopee’s rich manufacturing history.
